Where do I go for warranty?
Your local authorized elfAudio dealers will handle warranty claims.
What do I do if I need to send my product in for warranty?
All warranty returns should be sent to elfAudio freight prepaid through an authorized elfAudio dealer and must be accompanied by proof of purchase. (Photocopy of original sales receipt) Direct returns from consumers or non-authorized dealers will be refused unless specifically authorized by elfAudio with a valid RMA. (Return Merchandize Authorization) Warranty product returns without proof of purchase will be refused.
How long will it take to repair or exchange the defective product?
Our goal is once the product is received into the system we try to have it processed and shipped back to you within 3 – 5 business days. We are unable to guarantee this return time because if we are on backorder of a certain model this could hold things up. If this is the case you will be notified by one of our customer representatives.
Speaker and Sub woofer Warranty?
If the speaker and/or sub woofer is under warranty and passes inspection you will receive a replacement model. We do not repair the loudspeaker.
Who pays the freight?
You, the consumer, are responsible for paying the freight to get the defective product to us and back to you. A cashier’s check should be made to: elfAudio, the cashier’s check should be sent inside the box along with a copy of the original receipt. If a cashier’s check is not in the box when we receive the defective product we will hold on to the product for 60 days from when we received the product. If payment has not been established within the 60 days. Our system will automatically place the item back to inventory and our records will be shown as a completed transaction.
What to do if I don’t have the original receipt for the product purchased?
If you no longer have the receipt of the product, we suggest contacting the dealer where you purchased the product and have them make a photocopy of the receipt.
What if I send the defective product without a photocopy of the original receipt?
If you send the defective product back to us without a copy of the original receipt, we will return the defective product back to you.
What if I ship the defective product without a Return Authorization Number?
The product will be refused and automatically sent back to you.
Can I take my defective product to any elfAudio dealer and they replace it for me?
Possibly, replacing the item not purchased from their store is completely up to that particular store. elfAudio can not tell a dealer what their policies should be. This is decided at each individual dealer.
Will the warranty still be valid if I purchased it from a third party?
No, the warranty will be voided; the warranty program only covers the original purchaser.
What if my product is no longer under warranty?
You will need to contact elfAudio at (714)680-9189, a customer representative will send you to a authorized elfAudio repair facility.
What if I need to warranty a product outside the United States of America?
Purchased products outside the United States of America are suggested to go to the authorized distributor of that country.
